WFM Saheli Barua, 25, of South Eastern Railway, Calcutta retained her
title in the 26th Godrej National Women `B' Championship at Patwardan School
in Sangli on November 21. She scored 7/9 and remained unbeaten to win by
a
superior progressive score than world under 18 champion IWM Aarthie
Ramaswamy of Tamil Nadu.
There are 3 first time qualifiers. The tall S.Sujatha, Y.Prathiba (TN) and 13-year old Baisakhai Das (WB).
