P. Magesh Chandran, 17, of Chennai won the 30th National Junior Championship for the Rathina Nadar Trophy on Feburary 6 at Hyderabad. It was his fourth national title having won U-18 in 2000, U-14 in 1998 and U-16 in 1997. Tamil Nadu boys took six of the top ten placings.
