Match, Beat Turkey 2.5-0.5, All Four Games Drawn In India v China

Indian women team, seeded ninth impressed beating Turkey
2.5-0.5 with Humpy recovering from an opening lapse to win. Harika
took a quick draw against a WFM with black. Swati Ghate scored in a
nice knight v bishop ending. India are on joint fourth place with
11/15. Russia were defeated 1-2 by Ukraine but the continue to lead
with 12.5/15. India take on Slovenia on Saturday. Friday is a free
day. Krishnan Sasikiran played a risky entertaining draw
against Zhang Zhong as India drew China 2-2. Anand had some opening
problems but he came back nicely as Bu forced a draw. Harikrishna
drew without excitement and Ganguly's game was not properly
displayed to watch. The 2-2 results leaves India on joint twelfth
place with 13.5/20 with a defeat, three wins and a draw. Armenia
drew Russia and they jointly lead with 15.5. India face Germany in
