Garry Kasparov who beat The World in his match (as reported yesterday) in the Internet website of Microsoft has won all his engagements in 1999. Making his comeback to chess after a long break he won the Hoogovens Tournament at Wijk aan Zee, the Linares Tournament in Spain, the Sarajevo Super GM Tournament in Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Frankfurt Chess Classic in Germany and now this Internet match which became the biggest interactive match. His last event for the year, a 16-player Grand Prix knock out one-hour game will be played in his website from December 18 with the finals on January 1, 2000.
