Venue: School Of Management Studies, CUSAT, Cochin University of Science and Technology, South Kalamassery, Ernakulam District, Kochi-682 022 (12 Km north to Ernakulam City) This year 2008 is the Silver Jubilee of the CUSAT Chess Club

Entry Fee: Free entry for GM/WGM/IM/WIM & Players with ELO Rating above 2300. Players with 2000-2299 Rs.500, Rs.400 (Ernakulam), Rs.250 (Cusat), Below 2000: Rs.600, Rs.500 (Ekm), Rs.300 (Cusat), Unrated: Rs.800, Rs.700 (Ekm), Rs.400 (Cusat). Entry should be remitted in cash or by bank demand draft in favour of "Secretary, Cusat Chess Club" and payable at Kochi. Schedule: Opening: at 2 p.m. on 24-6-08 then ten rounds, closing 30-06-08 2.30 p.m. Accommodation: 1. Free accommodation to GM/WGM/IM/WIM and players with rating above 2300. 2. Other rated players Rs.500. 3. Unrated players and accompanying persons: Rs.700. 4. Dormitory Type accommodation: Unrated Rs.350, Rated Rs.250.
